A total of 1,003 precast members were used for the entire project. The building also had lower level basements and shear walls with varying levels. Coordination of panels with respect to these elevated slabs presented a challenge but placement of slabs using Tekla eliminated most of the errors and coordination issues that would have otherwise arisen in the situation. Though the building created an impression that all levels were identical, in reality there was a panel design variation in each level of the building. This challenge was easily met with the help of Tekla’s advanced tools.

The project encompassed the structural design of sloped truss members utilizing a combination of wood and steel materials. The detailing scope included framing steel structures for the basement floor, roof, ceiling, roof attachments, decking, stairs, and railings.Advenser was entrusted with developing a comprehensive 3D structural steel model in Tekla Structures, incorporating primary steel, embedded components, and miscellaneous steel elements. The scope also included the generation of detailed drawings and reports to facilitate the steel structure’s construction.All models and drawings were meticulously prepared in adherence to AISC, AWS, and OSHA standards, referencing structural and architectural design documents. The project deliverables comprised erection drawings, fabrication drawings, single-part drawings, and various reports, including ABM, BOM, NC files, KISS files, bolt lists, stud lists, and DXF files
