The RVA3 Data Center in Richmond provides advanced infrastructure and IT services, offering a highly secure and valuable environment for critical data storage and operations.Advenser’s role in this project included the creation of detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD. The façade system utilized captured and structural glazed curtainwall, storefront systems, and doors, designed to meet the facility’s stringent requirements for durability and performance. The project presented several complexities, including varying system depths and glass thicknesses, which required careful coordination. Additionally, the fully connected curtainwall system incorporated sloped elements, making the design more challenging. Advenser worked closely with the project team to ensure precision in every detail, delivering high-quality drawings that met the technical specifications
MEP BIM Case Study – Data Center Project, Sweden
Advenser provided comprehensive MEP services for the Microsoft GVX12 data center project in Sweden, executed for Priority Engineering, UK.Our scope included creating an LOD 400 model, spools, BOM, shop drawings, as-built documentation, and skids. The mechanical room posed significant challenges due to space constraints, requiring careful coordination and rearrangement of skids. The prefab steel-structured roof necessitated adding secondary metal supports for hangers, while refrigerant trays were rerouted in compliance with manufacturer standards.
