MEP BIM Case Study – Water Purification Plant Project, USA

Advenser provided process pipe modelling services in LOD 400 for a water purification project. Our scope included spool and BOM creation, shop drawing preparation, and generating as-built models. A key aspect of the project was modelling double containment pipes, many of which had slopes to accommodate the transport of acidic liquids. Sourcing accurate families for pipes and fittings posed a challenge. As-built models were later developed using point cloud files provided by the client.
