MEP BIM Case Study – Medical Facility, Iceland

Advenser provided detailed 3D modelling services for the New National Hospital, a state-of-the-art healthcare facility in Iceland. Our scope included modelling HVAC & plumbing systems with a focus on mechanical and surgery rooms, where space constraints and dedicated AHUs for each surgery room posed unique challenges. The project was divided into five independent zones to meet earthquake-resistant design requirements. A viable design or schematic weren’t there to guide. Advenser remodeled most part of the building with the help of clients guidance and in hand experience, sticking onto the local building codes and international standards while updating the model. Advenser successfully delivered precise MEP models, hosted on BIM 360, to support the client’s design-assist workflow.
