Steel Detailing Case Study – Industrial Material Handling Project, USA

The material handling system comprises four sorter platforms, four unloading platforms, three crossovers and one support grid platform. The overall project spans an area of 55,000 square feet. The task involved modeling all steel and misc. elements in Tekla Structures and generating drawings and reports.The scope of work required Advenser to create 3D model and Steel detailing: - Beams, Columns, 46 Stairs, 2 Ship ladders, Railings and Decking.Advenser created a 3D model, drawings and reports as per AISC standards based on structural design drawings. The project deliverables included 3D model, Erection drawings, Shop drawings, Drawings list report, BOM reports, Assembly reports, Parts list report and Fasteners reports.
