Architectural BIM Case study – Hotel Project, Sri Lanka

The scope of work required Advenser to deliver the Architectural BIM model, shop drawings, and Procurement details. The BIM model consists of furniture, sanitary and plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, floors and wall tiles, stairs and lifts, walls, columns, beams, and their finishes, along with their manufacturing specifications. The Advenser team extracted shop drawing and procurement list from the BIM model. The shop drawing consists of millwork details inbuilt furniture’s (T.V consoles, wardrobes, vanity, reception table and bar units), wall setting out drawing, typical fixing drawings, tile and furniture layouts, finishes and furniture locating elevations. Procurement details of all furniture’s, tiles and lights were also included in deliverables.
