An ideal candidate will be responsible in comprehending and completing assigned tasks from the client. A steel detailing Junior Engineer will ideally look in to the client requisition aspects, have the ability to troubleshoot and also achieve the required end results. We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines

Qualification, Experience and Skills Required:

• Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 1 – 3 years of relevant work experience in steel detailing.
• Working with US projects will be an added advantage
• An excellent working knowledge about Steel detailing in Tekla is a must.
• A robust AutoCAD knowledge will be an added advantage
• Good verbal and written communication skill in English

Responsibilities:

• Produce GA erection, assembly and part drawings.
• Review and interpret structural and architectural plans from the contractor to provide detailed shop, and erection drawings
• Assist with detailing operations
• Apply 2D and 3D CAD skills in the creation, conveying or extraction of information related to the project work
• Basic 3-D project modelling.
• Maintain and manage project file.
• Editing drawings using Tekla.
• Collaborating with the team to meet project deadlines.
• Creating detailed fabrication and single part drawings.
• Coordinating project activities.
