Introduction

Advenser did three metro station platforms and ‘Pearlridge Station’ was a complicated one. We performed the whole BIM coordination and rebar detailing aspects. Our team meticulously detailed Pearlridge Station’s complex geometry using advanced software tools and rebar modeling, ensuring seamless BIM coordination and collaboration with the client.

Our scope of work

Advenser did three metro station platforms and ‘Pearlridge Station’ was a complicated one. We performed the whole BIM coordination and rebar detailing aspects. The main challenge faced in rebar modeling was “Long Concrete” modeling with various geometry cuts. Our team successfully did the 3D modeling in Tekla for BIM coordination using the reference models for MEP, Architectural and Steel disciplines received from the client. We also placed the Post Tension Ducts and all embeds in the Tekla model. The 3D visualization made the clash detection task easier and quicker.

Business Model Adopted

Advenser used a team of rebar detailers on an hourly billing business model for ‘Rebar detailing and BIM coordination’.

Challenges
