BIM for Structural Engineering
This specialization teaches you how to use the 3D model-based process in BIM to design, detail, document, and fabricate structural systems. Understand how to optimize designs, improve accuracy, and connect design to fabrication with our hands-on workshops and practical sessions.
In this course you will start by learning the concepts of LOD, various structural members and creating structural drawings. After this, you move to advanced topics like parametric family creation, fabrication, advanced coordination and collaboration.

Prerequisites
Before taking this course, students must have background and understanding in basic BIM concepts and minimum 1 year experience in AutoCAD drafting/ designing.
