Introduction
Located midway between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, this road corridor is going to be unveiled at the world’s largest expo event in Dubai to be held 2020. It is a combination of three major roundabouts, one box junction and roads connecting to nearby highways. The client had a requirement of BIM model with signage and road markings. Total span of the road is 1902 metres.
Our scope of work
Advenser’s Architectural team executed the BIM project in Autodesk Civil 3D. Inputs from the client team included construction document set in CAD and PDF formats. Advenser delivered CAD and Naviswork model for coordination. Civil 3D was used for modeling and road markings, and signage was done using AutoCAD and 3dsmax files.
Business Model Adopted
CP-04 Expo Village Road is a project involving road corridor development service from Advenser. A team of 4 was engaged for 4 months to complete the project on an hourly billing business model.
