Profile overview

Ensure accuracy, compliance, and constructability of steel detailing deliverables by performing thorough quality checks in line with industry standards and project requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure quality assurance of models, drawings, and all project deliverables.
Ensure project deliverables comply with the company’s QA/QC procedures and the client’s specifications/standards.
Ensure all project deliverables comply with industry codes and standards relevant to the project’s location.
Ensure early detection of clashes in the model during the checking phase.
Ensure the construction feasibility of all deliverables based on industry steel erection processes and standards.
Support the Quality Manager in the development and refinement of QC checklists and QC procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong technical knowledge of structural steel and miscellaneous steel detailing
Excellent ability to read and understand structural, civil, and architectural drawings
Good understanding of engineering documents, drawings, checklists, and specifications
Strong familiarity with AISC, OSHA, IBC, BS, and IS codes and standards
